Just My Opinion: Wrestemania XXX: Legacy Vs False Prophecy Round 1

5/5/2014 7:58:19 AM

So John Cena prevails, but another part of this plot will roll ‘til the Extreme Rules, eh? Some wrestling enthusiasts said their match with Bray Wyatt should have been the second best of the night.

And the flaws: They still lacked the much hype in compliance to their story line.

And maybe, I would agree with that.

The problem with Cena though is that he can really have the monster in him, but he doesn’t have to be driven out by his opponent just like that. Look, the Cenation leader may have defeated the Buzzards’ patriarch in terms of physique; but if we’re talking about mind games, it’s the other way around. I mean, Bray Wyatt is winning even more against him.

I know, some would say it’s scripted by nature. But believe me: his performance during the match was not just like one, it’s even more predictable.

And to save the least for the Wyatt Family’s head, I can only take a look at this clip and call it “the best trash-talking moment of the evening.”

Now, as I am writing the post, reports said John Cena lost to Bray Wyatt in their steel cage match at the Extreme Rules held Sunday evening (US Eastern Time) at the IZOD center. Well, I have yet to check out the entire match as long as the local carrier here in the country would provide its telecast.

Match of The Year?!: #1 — The SHIELD vs. The Wyatt Family

2/28/2014 11:00:58 AM

Meanwhile, as I saw the entire list of clashes in the Sunday’s Elimination Chamber, I think this battle goes down as one of the World Wrestling Entertainment’s epic matches of the year 2014.

Seriously, it is.
I know, it’s just seven weeks in the year; but do I need to explain how these hounds-versus-cults battle needs to be proved as one?

Look at that. Two groups whom the WWE universe described them both as the “heels” in the cast. One of them goes as if they want to put the word ‘justice’ at their own bare knuckles; while another used to take things in such creepy ways.

And they are assaulting superstars no matter how tough and aged they are.

But this time around, they had their hands full against each other.

Yes! Yes! Yes! Bray Wyatt, Erick Rowan, and Luke Harper versus Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose.

Six bad-ass people divided into two toughie-trios for just one horrendous match.

Well, indeed was a great one.

But if you ask me on ‘what’s best for business,’ I can only put a suggestion: thrown the marbles on Wrestlemania, and make it a ‘no-holds barred’ battle.

Believe me, they will just boom more than the anticipated Orton-Batista clash for the WWE World Heavyweight title, especially in that huge, huge venue called Superdome in the Big Easy? Rating going high on both pay-per-view, the WWE network, the fans seeing the action live, and even the Twitter feed in the US. And they can even top that one against another streak-on-the-roll match for the Undertaker. Seriously.

Besides, people love seeing antagonists going at it on another. No wonder the universe called their feud the match of the night, right? Yes, much better than the main event himself, or even the escalating altercation between Batista and Alberto Del Rio.
